DReVen (DRAXIS Research Ventures) is a Greece-based organization active in environmental research and innovation. It focuses on climate science, environmental data analysis, and sustainability-related research. Established in 2021 as a spin-out from DRAXIS Environmental SA, the organisation works on climate risk assessment and the use of modelling approaches and regional climate projections to support environmental analysis and decision-making. In selected areas, DReVen applies life cycle thinking and sustainability assessment methods to evaluate environmental performance. DReVen is involved in European research and innovation initiatives, contributing to collaborative project implementation across different thematic areas.
Role in the project
In REHUBS, DReVen is responsible for the overall coordination of the project and supports collaboration and communication among consortium partners. In addition, the organisation contributes scientific and technical expertise related to the assessment of climate-related risks in rural areas. DReVen supports the development and use of regional climate projections and weather-related analyses that inform project activities and the application of REHUBS tools across participating regions.
