Results & Solutions

Expected Results

This section focuses on the expected project outputs, lessons learned, methodologies, demonstration outcomes, replication insights, and public results that will become available during the project. REHUBS results will be organised around the four main pillars of the project.

Digital Tools & Platforms

This section focuses on the development of practical tools and technologies for rural climate adaptation.

Results may include climate risk assessment models, early warning systems, flood and drought modelling tools, smart irrigation solutions, circular water recovery approaches, wildfire detection systems, biodiversity monitoring tools, and the Risk Assessment and Adaptation Platform.

REHUBS develops tailored, scalable, and easy-to-use adaptation solutions that can help rural communities respond to climate change.

These solutions include early warning systems, climate risk assessment tools, flood and drought modelling, smart irrigation, water reuse, fire detection, biodiversity monitoring, and adaptation planning platforms. The goal is to provide communities and local authorities with tools that are practical, understandable, and useful for decision-making.

The project will deliver solutions related to:

Climate risk assessment

Early warning systems

Flood and drought modelling

Smart irrigation

Circular water recovery

Wildfire detection

Biodiversity monitoring

Risk Assessment and Adaptation Platform

Online Academy and AI support chatbot

Training & Knowledge Resources

This section focuses on stakeholder engagement, training, and capacity building.

Results may include Rural Micro Hub activities, training materials, Online Academy content, AI chatbot support, participatory workshop outcomes, peer-to-peer learning materials, and guidance for local actors.

REHUBS places people at the centre of climate adaptation.

The project engages local stakeholders, farmers, citizens, local authorities, SMEs, researchers, and rural actors through workshops, training sessions, Rural Micro Hubs, an Online Academy, and peer-to-peer learning.

These activities help communities build the knowledge, skills, and confidence needed to better understand climate risks and take action.

Demonstration & Replication Outcomes

This section focuses on testing, validating, and replicating REHUBS solutions.

REHUBS tests and validates its solutions in four Demonstration Cases across Europe.

The project also assesses how these solutions can be transferred and adapted to three Replication Sites. This ensures that the tools and methods developed by REHUBS are not only innovative, but also practical, scalable, and useful in different rural contexts.

This section will present demonstration outcomes, replication insights, lessons learned, and validation results as they become available.
