AEIDL is a Brussels-based, pan-European non-profit organisation. Its purpose is to learn from and foster community-led local development innovation to revitalise local communities throughout Europe. The organisation supports cooperation among local actors and contributes to analysis and exchange related to European rural and territorial development.
Role in the project
AEIDL is responsible for developing the REHUBS Policy Roadmap for Regional and Local authorities’ adoption of climate resilience solutions. It will provide actionable policy interventions to overcome these challenges, enhance policy synergies, and support place-based, community-driven governance for a just transition and climate resilience in rural areas. These recommendations will be co-created, discussed, and validated through dedicated policy workshops, incorporating international perspectives to identify barriers, silos, and gaps that hinder local implementation of green policies.
