ICLEI – Local Governments for Sustainability is a global network of more than 2500 local and regional governments committed to sustainable urban development and is active in 125+ countries. ICLEI Europe supports local governments across Europe, Middle East and West Asia in their transition to climate neutrality, to build more resilient and equitable communities.
Role in the project
Within REHUBS, ICLEI supports the involvement of local and regional authorities and contributes to knowledge exchange activities. The organisation connects project activities with local governance contexts, supports the sharing of experiences and practices among participating regions, and provides governance and policy expertise to help align project outcomes with EU climate resilience goals and local policy needs.
